Craig S. Hyman has 18 years experience in the music industry. Eight years ago he founded and is the owner and president Of Numinous Music, an Artist Management, Consulting, and Promotions company in New York City.
Craig was Manager of the A&R Department at RCA Records in the New York Office from 1999 - 2000. His Music Industry background encompasses almost every aspect of the industry. He has worked on the record label side in A&R, independently scouted and showcased artists, has done artist development independently, touring and live concert production (domestically and internationally), was a talent buyer, "shopped" artists, consulted on recording projects, advised on projects for distribution, as well as being a U.S. Representative for artists worldwide. One of Craig's primary objectives is to bridge the cultural gaps through music between U.S. markets and markets in Europe and worldwide.
Craig's extensive background in television and film has included providing musical content and composers for various television shows and commercials. He has operated as an Independent Producer and/or Director for clients like Showtime, Santana, Red Hot Chili Peppers, MTV London, Cablevision, Various Advertising Agency's, Comedy Central, Noggin, TNT, etc., working on Commercials, Independent Feature's, Documentaries, Music Videos, EPK's, etc.
In addition Craig is a part-time music journalist, an artist coach, a board member of the Music Managers Forum - U.S. Chapter, and a member of NARIP.
