Carter is responsible for casting composers, building their deals and shepherding the score through the creative post-production process. In addition, he is responsible for commissioning songs, coming up with source cues, soundtrack albums and single tie-ins. Past projects have included Queen of the Damned, Dukes of Hazzard, Constantine, Starsky & Hutch, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, Syriana, Assassination of Jesse James By the Coward Robert Ford, V for Vendetta, I Am Legend and others. Current and future projects include Get Smart, Speed Racer and House of Lies.
Carter's background is in music performance and composition, with a degree from UCLA. Carter Lives in Culver City with his wife and two daughters.
