PAULA FUGA represents Hawaiian culture in her music and daily life, but at the same time possesses a unique sound that is universally appealing.
Paula's originals are a heartfelt blend of soul, roots reggae, and acoustic folk. In 2007, Paula's self-produced debut album, Lilikoi, was nominated for Na Hoku Hanohano Awards for Female Vocalist of the Year and Contemporary Album Of The Year, and she also took home the Award for Most Promising Artist.
Paula has become one of the most powerful and poignant performers Hawai`i has seen in years. Having shared the stage with the likes of Katchafire, Damien Marley, Ben Harper, Jack Johnson, Three Dog Night, and Don Carlos, Paula is raising the bar for today's Hawai`i based musical acts.
