Myles Lewis is the Executive Director of Writer/Publisher Relations for BMI in Los Angeles. His responsibilities include seeking out and signing new songwriters, artists and bands and assisting them with all aspects of the music business experience including creating co-write opportunities, pitching songs and making introductions to labels, publishers, attorneys and managers; participating in local and regional music conferences; and interfacing with music industry professionals on behalf of BMI. He works closely with songwriters and performers to put together many of BMI's showcases including BMI's Pick of the Month, The Industry Insider Series (along with Billboard Magazine and Gibson Guitars), BMI's Howdy Texas Showcase (with NBC/Universal) and The Acoustic Lounge showcase series. Since starting at the company in Spring of 2000 he has been involved in affiliating and working with such acts as Linkin Park, Colbie Caillat, Fall Out Boy, Three Days Grace, and Michelle Branch as well as a number of acclaimed songwriters and producers including JR Rotem, The Matrix, Wayne Wilkins, Savan Kotecha, Sheppard Solomon, Shelly Peiken, Pam Sheyne, Brian Howes, David Hodges and Ben Moody among others.

Prior to joining BMI, Lewis was Manager of A&R for Almo Sounds where he was involved in the signings of Ozomatli, Jurassic 5, Red Velvet Relief and Soulwax. Previous to that he was a Publicist at Michaels and Wolfe Public Relations where he worked with such clients as Drew Barrymore, Noah Wyle and Sandra Bullock. He began in the music business at Hollywood Records where he held Assistant positions with the Vice President, Publicity and Senior Vice President, Radio Promotion. He holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from San Diego State University and is a member of the National Association of Recording Arts and Sciences (NARAS).
