Joey is Co-owner of Elepani Productions Inc. which includes a state-of-the-art recording studio, the rRed Elephant Cafe, and "Live" @ the rRed Elephant in Honolulu, Hawaii.
Joey has been involved in the live music, recording, professional music equipment, and acoustic component industries all his professional working life - in excess of 32 years. He brings with him a level of music industry, audio, and acoustics insight and an understanding that allows for effective communication at all levels, from artist to record company executives, from design engineers to industrial company presidents.
Throughout his career, Joey has performed as a professional musician and has worked with wide array of record producers and recording artists including Burt Bacharach, Arif Mardin, Phil Ramone, Boy Meets Girl, Joe Sample, Michael Franks, Michael McDonald, Aretha Franklin, Loreena McKennitt and more. In addition, Joey has engineered records for such well known music artists such as Bette Midler and Natalie Cole among others. |
