The Kauai Music Festival is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization funded almost entirely through grants, sponsorships, and donations. Supplemental funding is provided through attendee registration fees and concert ticket sales. In addition, we are staffed entirely by volunteers - no one on the local or visiting KMF staff earns any direct salary or income.
Donations - which are greatly welcomed and appreciated - are generally tax deductible. However, you should check with your accountant with any questions you may have related to your particular situation.
