What makes the Kauai Music Festival Special?
"An Opportunity to Be Heard and Get Discovered!"

Wednesday, July 30 - Saturday, August 2, 2008

The Kauai Music Festival is a 4-day celebration of the art of songwriting held on the island of Kauai, Hawaii.

At the festival, you will learn songwriting from some of the best songwriters in America. You can consult, one-on-one, with award winning songwriters, Grammy-winning producers, and top A&R and other music industry people. In addition, your music will be heard in our small group seminars by the best songwriters, and in our songwriting competition your music will be heard by people who really can make a difference for you. There's nothing like it anywhere... just ask anyone who has ever attended!  To see for yourself, check out our Photo Gallery at the bottom of this page.

Our attendees cover a vast range of genres and experience and travel here from many places. No matter where you stand as a songwriter, there is room for every type of individual at the Kauai Music Festival. Our youngest attendee ever was just thirteen years old, and our oldest was eighty-two. We have had people attend who are just beginning their career or hobby as a songwriter and want to learn about the entire songwriting business. On the other hand, we’ve had other attendees who are very accomplished and are looking for expert advice and guidance that only the best in the business can provide. The genres of our past attendees spanned from rock, pop, R&B, country, and urban to modern Hawaiian and everything in between. So if you are wondering if the Kauai Music Festival is right for you? We confidently say "Absolutely".
