Congratulations to our 2014 Songwriting Contest Winners!
_The Kaua'i Music Festival (KMF) Songwriter Conference is a 4-day celebration of the art & craft of songwriting, with an emphasis on collaboration, education, and music for film and TV. At the KMF Songwriter Conference, songwriters of all levels from all walks of life come together to collaborate and network with each other and music professionals from Hawai'i, the mainland, and beyond!
Through songwriting workshops, seminars, small group sessions, panels, one-on-one meetings, nightly open mic and more, attendees are able to connect with, learn from, and be inspired by an experienced staff of professional songwriters, producers, musicians, film and TV music supervisors, production library owners, music publishers, A&R executives, and music business consultants.
KMF is unique from other music conferences because its small size and the low-pressure island atmosphere create an intimate experience where amateurs, professionals, and everyone in between can develop meaningful relationships through the one thing that unites us all: music!
We hope you can join us in 2015. Please connect with us on our FaceBook page, follow us on Twitter, check out our blog and 2014 staff bios for more information, and send us a message if you have any questions.
What Makes the KMF Songwriter Conference Special?
1) The People - the attendees, the staff, and the volunteers,
2) An Opportunity to "Be Heard and Get Discovered!",
3) An Emphasis on Improving Your Songwriting Craft and Getting It Placed in TV & Film, and
4) The location - Kaua'i itself, with its unparalleled beauty and remote location, allows you to escape the pressures of everyday life and focus entirely on yourself and your craft, in a relaxed atmosphere where you can find and make new lifetime friends!
